Scooby doo, the funky Afro bus, has been zooting all over the Garden Route filling many adventurer’s desires. Volunteers volunteering at the Garden Route Game Lodge have been on the adventure bus almost every weekend. We had an awesome birthday party for one of the volunteers – Sarah. We visited Monkey land and Birds of Eden and jumped of the world highest commercial bungy bridge at Bloukraans, which is a jaw-dropping 216 metres!!!.

As always paragliding and para-triking with Flytime Paragliding remains one of our most popular daytrips. Whales are currently in the bay and we have had numerous sightings from the air while on the para-trike. To say that our resident pilot is a genius would be an understatement, this guy is bleeping awesome!

Tree top adventures with Wild Woods was another regular hit on the adventurer’s list. They specialize in providing exciting aerial adventures where zip lines, tarzan swings, nets, bridges and other fun obstacles take children and adults from tree to tree. There are several courses to meet different levels of ability and age groups.

Our newest and most definitely one of the favourite day trips has to be lion walking at Botlierskop private game reserve. Walk alongside Africa's most majestic predator. The "walking with lions" encounter is an opportunity to interact with young lions and our guests are always amazed by these majestic creatures.

Every Saturday we offer free trips to the Wild Oats farmers market. Said to be the best organic market in the country! Jam packed with live entertainment, fresh produce, healthy treats and a kaleidoscope of color and local culture!

Make sure to visit us at Afrovibe Backpackers located in the heart of the Garden Route to join in the fun!
